As the last territory of Shadre to be colonized and a relatively new country, Helion has a lack of autochthonous forms of culture. Still, its demographics are composed by people from all the other countries, mainly Albanir, Teria, Esfiria, and Karkand.
Helion is an emerging superpower. It’s ruled by a government that “controls” and serves as a mediator between three militarized super-corporations that exploit the vast resources of the country, as well as providing a constant influx of jobs, energy, food, technology, etc. to the population.
This country doesn’t have any “official” armed forces to defend itself, but it has the most militarized police force of all Shadre: Helion’s state police. A force that not only acts as peacekeepers, but also as an army, mediator, and deterrent.
The super-corporations Greycom, Aurisoft, and HRC (Helion Resources Corporation) control different parts of the Helian territory and have the authority to exploit the resources in those territories, as well as build infrastructures and facilities.
This corporations are owners of a multitude of industries, high-technology private institutions, military divisions, commercial entities and trademarks that attract to the country a large influx of grey matter, wealthy people and qualified personnel, but also basic manpower.
All these opportunities, coupled with a high quality of life, high salaries, stunning cities, and a beautiful and diverse land composed of multiple biomes makes Helion the most attractive destination to emigrate.
Helians are usually depicted as elitists, isolationists, and soulless individuals, but also highly professional and specialized.
